primal retardmaxxing

Predator and prey are both retardmaxxing, just for very different reasons.

work note

The idea was that predator and prey can fall into the same state, abandoning caution and letting instinct take over. The hawk commits completely to the hunt, while the mouse commits just as completely to escape. Neither one gets to step outside the chase and think clearly. The xray style turns that shared intensity into an action sequence, reducing both animals to the same primal machinery. They occupy opposite sides of the food chain, but both are maxxing out the same impulse.
