gorilla with reflecting sphere

work note

This began as a direct riff on M. C. Escher's Hand with Reflecting Sphere. What might a gorilla see when looking into the same kind of sphere, and would the experience resemble the one suggested by the original? There is no hidden symbolism or larger claim behind it. The entire concept comes from giving Escher's familiar moment of reflection to a gorilla and leaving the question open.
