en garde maxxing

Both sides are retardmaxxing to survive, whatever the difference in size.

work note

This encounter belongs to a recurring interest in animal conflict, from predator and prey to other confrontations in nature. Both sides are retardmaxxing to survive, giving themselves over to instinct when the encounter becomes a fight. The elephant and snake face the same immediate demand despite their difference in size. The title gives their readiness to fight a fencing salute.
